WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

The Arts Centre is designed to ensure easy access for everyone. A ramp at the front of the venue leads directly to the main doors. From here, we recommend that those requiring assistance talk to the Front of House Manager, who will direct you to an elevator to take you up to the main doors of the auditorium. Enquiries prior to performances can be directed to the Theatre Manager on (09) 970 6796.

BUSES & TRAINS

RFAC is a 15 minute walk from Newmarket Train Station. Both the inner and outer city link buses stop in Newmarket shopping centre, which is a 5 – 10 minute walk from the Raye Freedman Arts Centre.

PARKING

Silver Road is a one way street accessible from Manukau Road via Gate 5, exiting via Gilles Ave ONLY. Drop offs and pickups outside the RFAC are not permitted along the Auckland City Council yellow lines, nor is turning into Silver Road from Giles Ave. It is highly recommended you arrive early and park in the surrounding streets - Sharpe Road, Owens Road or Albury Avenue (Please refer to map).
